Dt Monisha Ashokan is a certified nutritionist from VLCC institute in Delhi. Also, finished an additional diploma in Nutrition & Health Education from IGNOU. Being a fitness and lifestyle management consultant she invigorates her clients to understand how easy it is to incorporate whole foods into their diet. She also specialises in sports nutrition, weight management, eating disorders, body image obstacles, food intolerance/allergies, immune system enhancement and digestive disorders. She is extremely committed and has been successful in bringing her patients back to life by reversing diseases like congenital ulcerative colitis, IBS, dyslipidemia and heart diseases. But her expertise goes beyond ‘just diet’ Being a fitness enthusiast and a certified fitness expert from American Council of Exercise, she continues to expand her reach with growing library of workout plans and extremely nourishing and tasty recipes. Having witnessed the effects of a busy lifestyle on health, she has gained the reputation of the best consultant whose friendly and charismatic style motivates her clients to make positive and meaningful changes to their health without being dull or overtly restrictive. Her holistic approach to weight loss programme involves, goal setting, regular monitoring of progress, unfolding all kinds of road blocks, daily menus and exercise plans. Her passion for fitness doesn't end here.... She is a prenatal yoga expert certified from Swasthik Nature Cure. She is a renowned and accomplished licensed Zumba instructor for over 5 years which connects her passion to profession of influencing people to lead an active life. She has more than 4 years of experience in nutrition and is also Founder and Director of "Nourish Me". Monisha has been actively conducting various health, wellness and fitness workshops and seminars for corporates and schools. She has been published in magazines and newspapers in an attempt to create more awareness on bringing necessary lifestyle changes to live a healthy life. Her expertise are in individual weight loss, weight gain, weight management, sports nutrition programme, therapeutic programmes for various lifestyle diseases like Diabetes, Thyroid, ee PCOD, Cholesterol and Cardiovascular diseases. She has worked with reputed health institutions like 'VLCC' and 'Fitness First' as a senior nutrition consultant. Her struggle with her weight loss journey in her early days of education and attaining a healthy weight through lifestyle modification makes her more compassionate towards her clients. This enables her to help them increase their self-efficacy, rising above emotional eating and instead guiding them towards mindful eating.
